Pontfair is a cosy Welsh cottage nestled into the Llangrannog hillside only a 10-minute walk from the sandy beaches with easy access to Wales Coast Path.

With unspoilt views across the stream, towards the hills and down through the village, Pontfair is the perfect bolthole for families hoping to escape to the coast and country. Pontfair has been in the same family for the last century, and was once the site of two cottages and was the original Post Office. We’ve renovated the cottage to allow the space to welcome up to 8 people, maintaining the house’s unique character while providing a cosy hideaway for groups, couples, friends, and families of all ages. The outside area is a perfect spot for a barbeque and has a picnic bench, which catches the sunset as it dips behind the old church each evening.

Llangrannog boasts two pubs, a shop, two cafes, and a woodfired pizza takeaway. The location is superb for dolphin and wildlife spotters, swimmers, walkers and beach-lovers.

A short walk to the north is the spectacular Ynys Lochtyn, with the beaches of Penbryn and Tresaith a few miles to the south. There are many other bays to explore and incredible scenery to discover. Attractions nearby include activities such as golf, riding, fishing and boat trips. Further afield are other interesting places to visit including Cardigan, Tenby, Aberystwyth and the Preseli Hills.
